Illustrative Scenarios

To convey these ideas to others (including potential funding agencies), it will be useful to develop one or more scenarios that illustrate the ideas and potential benefits. At the very least, we might want a conservative scenario that illustrates the ideas using mostly familiar technologies and proven techniques and an aggressive scenario highlighting a more blue-sky, ideal case.

You can participate by helping to refine an existing scenario or proposing a new scenario.

A good scenario will be easy to understand by a broad audience and provide grounded illustration for each of the key questions. Quantitative grounding will also be valuable (with care not to complicate the exposition).
